The Division of General Surgery is composed of over 60 faculty across 11 sites. The principle teaching sites for the General Surgery Residency Program are the Montreal General Hospital, the Royal Victoria Hospital, and the Jewish General Hospital. Community training sites for residents include St. Mary’s Hospital, Lachine Hospital and Lakeshore General Hospital. Rural training opportunities are available at Barrie Memorial Hospital, Hôpital de Gatineau, Centre Hospitalier de Lanaudière, Hôpital de Hull, and Hôpital de Val D’Or.
