From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Biography: 

Lisa Banks is a doctoral candidate in McGill's Department of English, where she studies twentieth-century women writers H.D., Elizabeth Bishop, and Kay Smith in dialogue with age studies. In addition to her academic work, since 2017 she has been an Assistant Poetry Editor at The Antigonish Review. Her scholarship has appeared in Parallel Universe: The Poetries of New Brunswick, and reviews have appeared in CV2, Arc, The Antigonish Review, Canadian Literature, and elsewhere.
