Valérie Leclair

Dr. Valérie Leclair team’s main goal is to improve flare prediction in inflammatory myopathies, a group of autoimmune diseases associated with severe morbidity and mortality, so patients can receive timely personalized care. Leveraging the data from the Canadian Inflammatory Myopathy Study (CIMS), a large national registry and biobank longitudinally following patients with inflammatory myopathies, Dr Leclair’s program aims to develop innovative monitoring strategies to bridge the gap between biomarker discovery and clinical implementation to improve disease monitoring, flare prediction and disease management.
