Linda M Ofiara

Dr. Linda Ofiara trained as a respiratory specialist at McGill University and completed an additional fellowship year in Medical Oncology at McGill. She is an active member of the Respiratory Division in the McGill Department of Medicine and an associate member of the Department of Oncology. Dr. Ofiara’s main interest is lung cancer, with a focus on diagnosis and treatment. She is the Program Director of the McGill Respiratory Medicine Residency and Fellowship Program and the acting director of the McGill University Rapid Investigation Clinic, which provides expedited assessment for suspected lung cancer. She is trained in the administration of chemotherapy for lung cancer and in diagnostic techniques including linear and radial EBUS bronchoscopy, as well as, more recently, electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy (ENB).
