Biography:
Dr. Elie Akl is currently an assistant professor of Medicine at McGill University and an interventional Cardiologist at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC). He completed two years of interventional training at McMaster University with a focus on intravascular coronary imaging. His most notable project un this field was the first in-human evaluation of a hybrid intracoronary imaging catheter. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology from McMaster University, and is currently the Cardiology division lead of quality and innovation and the RVH.
