Research Project:
Renata is an undergraduate student completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering at National Technological Institute of Mexico (TecNM) in Mexico. Under the supervision of Professor Jan Kopyscinski, this research project focuses on the design and construction of a novel catalytic reactor for the conversion of CO₂ to olefins using a bifunctional or tandem catalyst system.
The work includes optimizing reactor configurations, developing P&IDs, selecting instrumentation, and establishing analytical methods to evaluate catalyst performance and reaction kinetics. The goal is to create a versatile experimental system for sustainable olefin production research.
