The Structures and Composite Materials Lab (SCML) is interested in different aspects of composites materials and their stakes.

 

3 Arrows for each step of reasearch: Goals: Develop new processes, materials systems and design tools fo sustainable polymer composite material systems. Methods: Global collaborative research, advanced simulation tools, robust design and testing methods.. Benefits: Reduce costs and improve the environmental impact of composite materials manufacturing and design.

 

Table summarizing the research sections and sub-sections: Sustainability with Biocomposites, recycling and automation; Composite materials developments with nanocomposites, thermoplastics and multifonctional composites and finally composites design and processing with design, process simulation, optimization, failure and repairs.
