Mentorship/Social Mixers
Mentors and mentees from our New Student Mentorship Program have the opportunity to meet up at these fun events, including trivia nights, speed friending, and more!
Not a mentor or mentee? No worries – these events are open to ALL students, whether you're curious about the program, are just looking for a space to make friends, or have questions about university life for your fellow students.
Ciné Campus
Did you know that McGill has over 150 countries represented in its staff and student population? Ciné Campus is our free monthly movie night series where we partner with cultural groups on campus to represent the diversity of student voices and perspectives at McGill through movies.
Does your student group want to partner with us? cle [at] mcgill.ca (Reach out! )
First in the Family Mixers
These events are safe and welcoming spaces for First Generation* students, faculty, and staff. Share your story with others who have lived or are living similar challenges and victories. You belong here!
For more information about support for First Generation students, check out First-Up Peer Support on Instagram and the First Generation Support program.
*You are First Generation if you are First in your Family to attend university, meaning your parents did not attend university, even if your siblings did.
Annual Winter Social
Every January, CL&E hosts a social for all first-year undergraduate students, to help to continue to make new connections, and to welcome new students arriving for Winter semester.
If you have an idea for a social event and are looking to partner with CL&E, cle [at] mcgill.ca (reach out to us).
