Infosilem's well-regarded scheduling software is used at many Canadian postsecondary institutions, the City University of Hong Kong, and some American postsecondary institutions, including Penn State. It has a proven track record of success. The vendor is based in Quebec and has provided regular and effective support throughout the project. What is the difference between the TPHi software and the former system?
- Historically, academic units have done their own scheduling for each course section on Banner.
- In ES, we find rooms for the course sections based on the times provided,room characteristics and building requests.
- The software allows us to find both times and rooms for the sections based on the Course and Instructor Constraint data and other factors.
