Join us for the Montreal Summer Choral Academy!
June 15 - 20, 2026
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Montreal Summer Choral Academy, hosted at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music.
Workshops | Masterclasses | Singing | Conducting | Concerts
The MSCA is a week-long celebration of choral music—a vibrant program designed for singers and conductors of all levels. Through engaging masterclasses, interactive workshops, and inspiring performance opportunities, participants will deepen their skills and share in the joy of collective music-making.
This year’s program centres on Carl Orff’s iconic Carmina Burana, offering a unique opportunity to explore one of the most thrilling and beloved works in the choral repertoire.
Led by Dr. Jean-Sébastien Vallée, Director of Choral Studies at McGill University, conducting participants will receive expert coaching and hands-on instruction in choral singing, conducting techniques, and interpretive artistry.
A highlight of the week is our Public Sing-Along Night, which brings together community members from Montreal and beyond to celebrate the power of music in community.
Whether you’re an experienced choral artist or discovering your voice for the first time, this exciting new program welcomes everyone with a passion for singing.

The Montreal Summer Choral Academy isn’t just about studying – we’re looking forward to presenting concerts and community events throughout the week.
Come out to experience the power of the human voice in harmony, no matter your level of experience. Everyone is welcome as we share our voices with the Montreal community!
