An updated version of TurningPoint, which is the software used to administer the Student Response System (Clickers) in classes, is now available. TurningPoint 5 replaces earlier versions of the TurningPoint software offered on the McGill software site. Faculty and staff can retrieve it by visiting and signing in to www.mcgill.ca/software.
SPSS 19 for Windows renewal license is now available at www.mcgill.ca/software. Please log in and place a new order to get the license file for the year (Sept 2011-Sept 2012).
JMP is a SAS product for statistical discovery that is compatible with Windows and Macintosh operating systems, free of charge, and licensed for use on all computers (on McGill-owned machines and on the personal computers of McGill students, faculty and staff).
ChemOffice Ultra is a desktop suite of applications for chemical modeling, visualization, analysis and compilation. It includes ChemDraw Ultra, Chem3D Ultra and ChemFinder Ultra and also features BioDraw Pro, E-Notebook Ultra, GAMESS, Jaguar & Gaussian interfaces, 3D Query/Finder, Purchasing for Excel, CombiChem/Excel and more.
The new version of SPSS Statistical Software (version 18) has arrived with an entirely new name. PASW Statistics replaces previous versions of the software as part of SPSS Inc’s new Predictive Analytics Software portfolio. Please search for PASW when looking for the new versions of this software at www.mcgill.ca/software.
