The MUHC hosts the Third International Symposium on Medical Information and Communication Technology (ISMICT)

Published: 24 February 2009

The McGill University Health Center (MUHC) will host the Third International Symposium on Medical Information and Communication Technology (ISMICT) in Montreal from February 24 to 26 2009, where we will discuss “New Wireless Information Technologies” and “Healthcare Applications”. This symposium will be a highly-interdisciplinary and international initiative aiming to better understand how wireless technologies will impact medical practice so that we can plan ahead accordingly.

The third ISMICT will bring together clinicians, engineers and researchers from around the world so that they can share their experience and current projects, particularly during many round table discussions. We are expecting approximately 300 participants.

Universities, healthcare institutions, research groups and industry members will present their latest results, products and ideas through presentations or posters in the exhibition area.

We invite you to review the appended Partnership and Visibility Program document, as well as our website, www.ismict2009.org, to learn more about our International Conference on Information and Communication Technology in the Medical Field.
