Tuesday, March 11, 2008 17:00to19:30
Chancellor Day Hall 3644 rue Peel, Montreal, QC, H3A 1W9, CA
POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE - Law students, alumni and stakeholders of the Montreal legal community are invited to attend an innovative event to discuss legal career opportunities in Montreal. McGill Law graduates hold important and meaningful positions throughout the world. Of equal significance, though, is the success of our grads who remain in or return to Montreal and contribute to its vibrancy. Come listen to a panel discussion involving various alumni with experience abroad and in Montreal: Bernard Amyot (Heenan Blaikie - president, Canadian Bar Association); Martin Valasek (Ogilvy Renault - formerly practicing in New York); Alix D'Anglejan-Chatillon (Stikeman Elliott - formerly practicing in Paris and New York); Robert Raich (Spiegel Sohmer - Faculty Advisory Board); and Jan-Fryderyk Pleszczynski (Digital Dimension - former president, Montreal Junior Board of Trade). A cocktail reception will follow for everyone to exchange their thoughts on Montreal as a career destination of choice. RVSP before March 7.
