Alzheimer’s Society "Walk for Alzheimer’s"
Dear colleagues,
We are organizing a McGill Department of Family Medicine team to participate in the Alzheimer’s Society ‘Walk for Alzheimer’s’ . The event is taking place at the old port of Montreal on Sunday May 29th from 10am to 12pm. Here is the info on the event.
It costs only $15 to participate in the event (or $30 for a family of 4) and the Alzheimer Society will be providing everyone with t-shirt along with water and snacks. Here are some other excellent reasons to join us on May 29th:
1. Help raise awareness for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias
2. Help support our research team on the evaluation of the Alzheimer Plan in Quebec (part of the Canadian Consortium on Neurodegeneration in Aging) led by our very own Dr. Howard Bergman and Dr. Isabelle Vedel!
3. Browny points for KT and participatory research activities for our department !
4. Fresh air, physical activity and good company with colleagues, family and friends
