Welcoming the 2018-2019 HBHL Trainee Committee

Published: 19 September 2018

As part of its goal to train and support young researchers in neuroscience, Healthy Brains for Healthy Lives (HBHL) provides an opportunity for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows who received HBHL funding to participate in the HBHL Trainee Committee. The Trainee Committee organizes monthly Trainee Get-Togethers as well as an annual Research Day. These events provide opportunities for trainees to present their research, network, and expand their knowledge of a wide range of neuroscience topics. Through hands-on experience in academic event planning, committee members build diverse connections as well as leadership, teamwork, project management, and communication skills.

The HBHL team would like to formally welcome the 2018-2019 Trainee Committee, who started their term on September 12, 2018.

The Trainee Committee can be reached at hbhl.trainees [at] mcgill.ca. Stay tuned to their Twitter and Facebook for updates and events.
