Two BCom students selected for the National Bank Financial Young Women Student Mentorship Program
Selected from over 220 applicants, two McGill Desautels undergraduate students will be joining the National Bank Financial (NBF) Young Women Student Mentorship Program’s 2023-24 cohort. U3 student Ina Zhou, an Integrated Management Student Fellow, and U2 student Sasha Pliamm, a Sales Analyst with JED Consulting, will benefit from the opportunity to be paired with an experienced National Bank employee-mentor for nine months. During their internships, they’ll have the opportunity to attend professional workshops, skills-building webinars, engaging business discussions, and motivational speaker sessions for hands-on wealth management experience.
Since its launch in 2015, the program has impacted over 175 students and partnered with over 40 universities across Canada to empower young women to take their place in the finance industry.
