MUPP - Hybrid (Part A) Information Session

Intended for members of Part A (hybrid segment) of the McGill University Pension Plan (MUPP) - joined prior to January 1, 2009.  This 90 minute session will include such topics as:

• Difference between a defined contribution (DC), defined benefit (DB) and hybrid pension plan (DC + DB).
• What is the Defined Benefit (DB) Minimum?
• What is the DB Minimum formula for the MUPP?
• How is the supplement calculated?
• What the difference between receiving my supplement as a pension vs a transfer value?
• When is the supplement paid?
• Where can I view my current supplement?
• How do interest rates impact the supplement?
