PACB offers a wide range of services for respiratory disease investigators such as:
Cryovials of 1 million frozen, viable primary Human Bronchial Epithelial (HBE) cells
Highly-differentiated HBE cells on porous filters (transwells, snapwells)
Primary HBE cells cultured on plastic flasks (T25)
Specialized cell culture media: BEGM (Bronchial Epithelial cell Growth Medium) for culture on plastic and ALI (Air-liquid interface) for culture on porous filters
Transepithelial electrophysiological measurements (i.e. for drug discovery project)
Personalized technical support service
Prices and stock of cells are subjected to modifications. For more details, please contact us.
Detailed donor information are provided to users for each lot of primary HBE cells.
Quality control
PACB provides primary HBE cells that are suitable for air-liquid interface studies and are guaranteed for differentiation marked by cilia formation, mucin production, and TEER levels. Cells are tested negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi, as well as for HIV, hepatitis A, B and hepatitis C.
