Facilitate a Workshop

Are you part of  a  McGill student club  or  external community organization  that has an idea for a workshop or activity that would engage with elementary and secondary school students? We want to hear from you!

Homework Zone invites McGill students, student clubs and Kahnawá:ke and Montréal community members to share their passion and skills by facilitating a workshop at one of our participating elementary schools. Workshops would occur after school hours, but special cases may arise.

For McGill students, these activities provide your club or service with a great chance to engage with the community and consider new applications for your skills and interests. Past workshops include:

  • Sign Language 

  • Yoga 

  • Chemistry 

  • Map making 

  • Astrophysics 

  • Poetry

  • Music appreciation

  • Exploring the global food trade

  • Caligraffiti

  • Drama therapy
