August 6, 2026 update:

Banner Admin Pages now available to all users

McGill has completed the rollout of Banner Admin Pages, the new web-based version of Banner that will replace Banner INB Forms. All remaining Admin Pages—including Student Information System, Student Aid, Accounts Receivable (Finance and Student Accounts), and General pages—are now available to all Banner users.

Banner Admin Pages are part of McGill's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Modernization Program and provide a modern, accessible, and user-friendly experience, with improved navigation and usability.

Transition period

To support a smooth transition, Banner INB Forms will remain available alongside Admin Pages until the end of October 2026. During this period, staff may continue using either interface as needed.

Users are encouraged to begin working in Banner Admin Pages as part of their regular activities to become familiar with the new environment before INB Forms are retired.

Access Banner

Banner Admin Pages can be accessed through the Banner website, which serves as the central access point for:

  • Banner Admin Pages and Banner INB Forms login
  • Program updates
  • Support resources and documentation

Staff are encouraged to bookmark the Banner website for quick access.

The session provides an overview of Banner Admin Pages, highlights what to expect during the transition from Banner INB Forms, demonstrates key interface changes, and introduces the training and support resources available to help you get started.

All Banner Admin Pages now available

All remaining Banner Admin Pages, including Student Information System, Student Aid, Accounts Receivable (Finance and Student Accounts), and General pages are now live and available. This marks an important step in McGill’s ongoing efforts to modernize Banner and provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience for your day-to-day work.

Banner Admin Pages are designed to replace Banner INB Forms, providing a more modern interface with improved usability and navigation. We encourage you to begin using Admin Pages in your regular work to become familiar with the new environment before INB Forms are retired.

What to expect during this transition

  • INB Forms will remain available concurrently with Admin Pages until the end of October 2026.
  • During this transition period, you may continue using either INB Forms or Admin Pages as needed for your work.

What are Banner Admin Pages?

Banner Admin Pages are the modern web-based interface for McGill’s Banner administrative systems. The latest version of Banner, these Admin Pages introduce an improved user experience while preserving business processes.

They replace the legacy Banner INB (Internet Native Banner) forms and provide a more intuitive, streamlined way to access Banner functions through a secure browser environment — without the need for special software or remote desktop connections.

Admin Pages support key administrative activities across the University, including:

  • Financial transactions and reporting
  • Human resources processes
  • Student information management
  • Institutional data administration

It's important to note that both systems will be available during this transition. INB form users will be contacted when their individual forms are scheduled for upgrade.

Why the move to Admin Pages?

Banner Admin Pages are part of McGill’s modernization initiative. Compared to INB, they offer:

  • A cleaner, more user-friendly interface
  • Improved performance
  • Better accessibility
  • Reduced technical requirements
  • Simplified access from McGill-managed devices

As McGill continues to transition away from INB, Admin Pages will become the primary way users interact with Banner systems.
