Other equipment available in the lab includes a refrigerated centrifuge (holds 24 1.5-2mL microtubes), homogenizer, sonicators, pH meter, analytical balance, fume hood, a refrigerator and a -20° freezer.
The lab is currently not BSL2 certified, should you intend to measure biohazardous samples, please reach out in advance to discuss safe options for sample preparation.
Features of the 100PRO NMR spectrometer are:
-
5mm triple-resonance probe (1H, 13C, 19F)
-
z-gradients
-
Automatic sample changer (25 places)
-
Flow cell for continuous reaction monitoring
-
2H and 1H lock
Applications include:
-
(Quantitative) Metabolomics
-
Structural analyses
-
Diffusion analyses
-
