"Completing my bachelor's degree in Life Science with a specialization in Animal Biology at Macdonald Campus prepared me extremely well for the rigorous curriculum of a veterinary medicine program. McGill led me to pursue my veterinary education at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts. The knowledge and experience I acquired from my classes at McGill set well ahead of my peers at vet school and made me feel more confident in classes and labs. I absolutely loved the hands on experience I got from the Macdonald farm as well as shadowing the farm vet that would come weekly. The professors are always there to encourage you and share their experiences since a lot of them are veterinarians as well. In addition to the relevant curriculum, the atmosphere at Mac makes your time there so enjoyable. Being surrounded by like-minded people and the beautiful grounds makes it very hard to leave!"
