Adair Rounthwaite is a SSHRC postdoctoral fellow, specializing in contemporary art. Her research focuses on participatory and performative art practices. She is currently writing a book manuscript entitled Asking the Audience: The Affective Politics of Participation in New York 1988-89 (under contract with the University of Minnesota Press), and has recently begun a new research project on public art in 1970s Yugoslavia.
