As of Feb. 20, 2008, most McGill staff email addresses ending in @mcgill.ca have been automatically opted into the McGill Anti-Spam Quarantine system, and users have been subscribed to receive the daily quarantine digest. Note that if you previously opted out of the Quarantine system, you were NOT affected by this change. See "Details" for more information.

Minerva and Banner interfaces are once again available and users can immediately begin using Minerva, including the online application form, and Internet Native Banner. The University's information systems underwent a major upgrade to version 7 of our Banner administrative systems. ICS is following news and announcements related to the upgraded systems. All departmental NetWare servers should be removed from operation. The infrastructure that supports all other NetWare servers and services (IPX, SLP, Zen, NDS, etc.) will start to be dismantled on Thursday, May 4, beginning with the Banner forms server. Everything will be phased out by the end of May. Please send notification to ds [at] lists [dot] mcgill [dot] ca if you have questions.
New students should note that they will not be able to set up and use their McGill email account until the next business day after they register.
