The Visualization, Interaction, and Reasoning Lab was excited to participate in a panel discussion about lab groups hosted by the McGill Science & Mathematics Education Research Group (SMERG) on March 31, 2023. Five different lab or research groups participated in the event. Each shared how they structured their group and meetings, their goals, and any challenges and ongoing questions. The idea for the panel came from members of the ARIM research team. Maria-Josée Bran Lopez and Scosha Merovitz presented on behalf of the ARIM research team. The event was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our collective work, to learn with/from others, and to reflect on what we hope to do in the future.

Many thanks to Maria and Scosha and to the rest of the ARIM team for your contributions!
