CSVA Award for best presentation

One of the highlights of the VE Workshop is the formal presentation at a local hotel by the student teams to peers and company representatives. A formal presentation emphasizes the persuasion element of improvement projects and the importance of convincing others about the benefits of a particular solution.

Starting in 2004, representatives from the Canadian Society for Value Analysis (CSVA) judge the presentations and give the CSVA Pfeiffer-Wales* Award for Best Presentation. The student presentations are given at the annual conference held by the CSVA when it is held in Montreal.

* Professor David Pfeiffer and Hank Wales, CVS, were the original instructors of the course.
