Welcome to the webpage of the research team in value theory and the philosophy of public policy

The Canada Research Chair in Value Theory and the Philosophy of Public Policy is a research team dedicated to analytical normative ethics and the philosophical foundations of public policy such as income redistribution policy, health policy, environmental policy, population policy, and so on. The Chair was funded by the Canada Research Chairs Program in November 2019 and is held by Professor Iwao Hirose at McGill University.

Projects

Our research projects stretch over multiple areas in normative ethics and political philosophy. We welcome graduate students and postdoctoral researchers on the following topics.
