Training of high quality personnel (HQP) has been a major focus of our laboratory. Over the years, Drs. Nilsson and Bergeron have trained numerous HQPs that are already in leading positions in academia, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Our laboratory has extensive collaborative network with numerous first class research laboratories and industrial partners around the world. We provide an outstanding training opportunity for individuals with an interest to develop expertise in cutting-edge multidisciplinary fields of cell biology, proteomics, systems medicine, and their clinical applications.

Fellowship opportunities
We routinely assist students and post-doctoral fellow to apply for various fellowship opportunities including the prestigious Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships, and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Fellowships. In collaborating with our industrial partners we also assist trainees apply for the MITACS Accelerate Program , which allows trainees to gain industrial experience.
