Dr. Celia M.T. GreenwoodDr. Greenwood joined the LDI in 2010, after several years with the Hospital for Sick Children and the Dalla Lana School of Public Health in Toronto. She received her PhD from the University of Toronto in the Department of Public Health Sciences, with specialization in Biostatistics.  Her research interests lie in the development and application of appropriate statistical methodology for the analysis of data in the fields of genetics and genomics and high dimensional data.  She is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Genetic Epidemiology Society, as well as the Canadian Genetics and Genomics Society, and she is Co-Director of the Ludmer Centre for Neuroinformatics and Mental Health.
Current research interests include analysis of rare genetic variation, methods for analysis of DNA methylation, and methods for high-dimensional data analysis including visualization and dimension reduction.  Recently, she co-led the statistical team of the flagship paper from the UK10K study (Walter et al. 2015).
