Jennifer McCabe

I am a graduate student in the clinical psychology program at the University of Iowa under the supervision of Dr. Michael O'Hara. As a Research Assistant for the Iowa Flood Study: Emotional Experiences of Women During Pregnancy/Parenthood (EEWP), my primary role is conducting participant interviews.

After completing my undergraduate studies in psychology and history at Gonzaga University, I began work at the University of Utah as a Research Coordinator. While serving in this position, I worked on a research study centered around the stress and coping of adolescents with Type I Diabetes.

My primary research interest is in maternal depression and anxiety. More specifically, I am interested in the impact of maternal psychopathology on the parenting experience and the mother-child relationship.
