What is e-IMPAQc?

e-IMPAQc stands for the Electronic Implementation of Patient- and caregiver-reported outcomes across cancer centres in Quebec. e-IMPAQc is an electronic program for the systematic collection and assessment of patient- and caregiver-reported outcomes during and after cancer treatment. e-IMPAQc can be uploaded to any electronic platform and is currently available on Opal and DART.

How does e-IMPAQc work? Patients respond to standardized symptom questionnaires using a digital platform chosen by participating hospitals. Results are sent to clinicians through the electronic medical record with symptoms needing follow-up flagged and patients receive easily interpretable summary reports and self-management material
