Dre Gilbert est associée de recherche à l’École des Sciences de la Communication de l’Université McGill. Sa recherche porte sur l’impact des différences individuelles ayant trait à l’expérience bilingue sur la production et la segmentation de la parole, tant en langue maternelle qu’en langue seconde. Ses recherches font principalement appel à des paradigmes comportementaux et électrophysiologiques. Elle a obtenu un doctorat en phonétique de l’Université de Montréal et a complété un stage postdoctoral en psychologie à l’Université McGill.
