Dr. Norbert Schmitz’s research lab is an interdisciplinary team working within the fields of epidemiology, biostatistics, health psychology, psychiatry, and population health. The team is a vibrant community of graduate students and post-doctoral researchers, based at the WHO-affiliated Douglas Mental Health University Institute, who are passionate about cutting-edge mental health research and critical dialogue.
The lab is open to applications from motivated students wishing to pursue graduate studies (M.Sc., Ph.D.) at McGill University. The lab seeks members that demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills, creativity, and project follow-through.
Interested students are encouraged to review some of the current on-going Research Projects and recent Publications that have been produced at the lab to familiarize themselves with the diversity of topics, datasets, and methodological approaches used by the team.
