Sarah Gold: Women's health and policy-making in Argentina

Faculty of Arts student Sara Gold is working toward an honour’s undergraduate degree in International Development Studies and Women’s Studies. She spent a semester in Argentina interning at two non-profit organizations centered on HIV/AIDS issues, women’s rights and gender violence.

“This experience awakened a keen interest in the intersection between women’s health issues and policy-making, and in Latin American affairs. These experiences build on my involvement with the International Relations Student Association of McGill, and with McGill’s Institute for Health and Social Policy.”
