Biography:
Dr. Patricia Pelletier is a medical graduate of McGill University. After completing residency in Hematology, she pursued research training in cellular biology, followed by a fellowship in Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine at New York Blood Center, with additional training in HLA and umbilical cord blood banking. She then joined the Division of Hematology of McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) where she has been Director of the MUHC Designated Transfusion Center. Dr. Pelletier is a member of several provincial committees related to Transfusion Medicine and of the National Advisory Committee on Blood and Blood Products. Her clinical interests are in benign hematology, and particularly, in obstetrical hematology.
