Division Focus

View

The McGill Division of Hematology is dedicated to achieving excellence in clinical care, research, innovation, and education. With a strong history of leadership in both classical and malignant hematology, the Division provides world-class expertise in thrombosis and hemostasis, as well as specialized clinical care for hemoglobinopathies and rare diseases such as paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria and Gaucher’s disease. It also engages in cutting-edge clinical trials research focused on lymphoma, leukemia, myeloma, and myeloproliferative neoplasms.

Clinical Reach

The Division comprises highly-skilled and dedicated clinicians, clinician-educators, and clinician-scientists who collaborate across three main academic sites. Each site has its own leadership and expertise, supporting state-of-the-art diagnostic testing and innovative cell therapies.

Education

The Division’s hematology training program and fellowship opportunities provide high-quality teaching and hands-on experience for trainees at all levels. Led by dedicated faculty, it helps shape the next generation of clinicians and clinician-scientists.
