I am interested in the intersection of urbanization, land use, agrobiodiversity, and food nutrition. My research focuses on the global dynamics of peri-urban agriculture. My thesis explores the delineation of peri-urban areas, the distribution of their cropland, land-use transitions, agricultural fragmentation, and their role in sustainable urban food systems.
