Current research:
Bavisha's research interests include housing as a social determinant of health, energy poverty and vulnerability, and the role of the built and social environments in healthy aging. Her doctoral research focuses on exploring the role of housing in influencing the manifestation and well-being impacts of energy poverty among older Canadians. Through her research, she hopes to further our understanding of how living environments could be improved to support healthy aging and support efforts to embed climate change planning within age-friendly housing policy.
