The First People's House also held the Sha'teiohseri:hen Mid Winter Ceremony Virtually, with a presentation by Kanien'keha:ka Healers Geraldine and Mike on January 29th, 2021.
Skatne Ionkwatehiahrontie Art Workshop - In fall 2020, Mohawk art therapist Megan Kanerahtenha:wi Whyte recorded Skatne Ionkwatehiahrontie Art Hive, an online art-making workshop. She used easily accessible household materials to explore self care and community care strategies through collective art making.
Other Indigenous Departments' Virtual Events
- The Indigenous Studies Program held the 2021 Indigenous Knowledge Holder Series.
- The Indigenous Initiatives Unit held many events for the McGill Bicentennial, including the Hiawatha Wampum Belt Flag Raising, initiating the Gault Nature Reserve Partnership, and the Beatrice Deer Performance.
