Omar Gamboa Gonzalez holds a Ph.D. in French Studies from the University of Toronto. He has over eleven years of experience teaching French as a Second Language at universities and Alliances Françaises in Canada, Mexico, and Venezuela. From 2019 to 2025, he worked as a Course Instructor at the University of Toronto, where he taught French as a Second Language and French Morphosyntax courses. He currently works as a Faculty Lecturer at McGill University, teaching French as a Second Language and French for Academic Purposes. His research focuses on French Morphology, Second Language Acquisition, and Inclusive Pedagogy. He is the co-author of the textbook Morphosyntaxe du français. Approche générative (LINCOM Europe, 2025). He is committed to fostering engaging and inclusive learning environments that empower students to thrive in multilingual contexts.
