Seungmi Yang
Seungmi Yang, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health. She holds a chercheur boursier career award from the fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé. She received her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Dr. Yang's primary research interests include: (1) monitoring socioeconomic and ethnocultural health disparities in perinatal health in Canada; (2) understanding developmental processes of socioeconomic health disparities over life course; (3) investigating effects of early life characteristics on later health outcomes; and (4) assessing impacts of policies on population health and health disparities.
