Demystifying Data Science
Join us for a 2-hour introductory training on how data science powers modern genomics and RNA research within D2R. After a brief overview of what “data science” really means in our context, four short talks will highlight its key pillars: machine learning (Hamed Najafabadi), biostatistics (Josée Dupuis), ethics and governance of data use (Ma’n H. Zawati), and bioinformatics and computational pipelines (Guillaume Bourque).
