Event | RNA-Seq Bootcamp
From October 20–24, 2025, the Computational and Data Systems Initiative, in partnership with Quantitative Life Sciences-McGill initiative in Computational Medicine and the D2R-HeDS Platform (Health Data Science), will host an RNA-seq Bootcamp. This hands-on workshop series will equip participants with both the theoretical foundations and practical skills needed for RNA-seq data analysis.
The series will begin with an introduction to the command line, accessing publicly available RNA-seq datasets, and processing pipelines for generating count data. It will then cover the core workflows for differential gene expression and pathway enrichment analysis. Finally, participants will explore extensions of RNA-seq analysis in the context of single-cell data.
Participants may register for individual sessions of interest; however, attendance at a minimum of three sessions is required to receive bootcamp credit.
