Senior adult fitness exercises (safe)

The senior adult fitness exercises (safe) program is a series of exercise videos with one goal – to improve your quality of life.  It is designed to improve the health, mobility and independence of seniors.  Safe is a series of exercise videos to help older adults gain strength, balance and flexibility to prevent falling and increase confidence to keep moving.

Every safe level is comprised of five videos, each one targeting a specific component of exercise. Together, they form a well-balanced program designed to maintain and increase your overall fitness.

Safe was developed by Dr. José A. Morais and the Division of Geriatric Medicine at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and funded by the Montreal General Hospital Foundation.  It is bilingual and available for free at www.safe-seniors.com
