The Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning (SCSIL) is pleased to announce the inaugural call for applications for Conference Travel (CT) and Operational Research Support or Seed Funding (ORS-SF) available to Faculty Members of the McGill University Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

This conference brings together papers on bodies that have been censored, silenced, erased, and politically contested across languages, cultures, media, and historical periods. From state censorship to other forms of erasure, gendered, racialized, and queer bodies have long been banned, concealed, disciplined, and rendered silent by the institutions that govern cultural production: the church, the party, the publishing house, the archive, and the algorithm.
