This short, half-day colloquium seeks to bring together recent research on Jewish authors writing in Greek in the Greco-Roman world. The colloquium will begin with a plenary lecture from Dr Camilla Recalcati from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem on The Egyptian Background of the Septuagint. Following her lecture, there will be papers given by Drs Jean Maurais (FTE Acadia), Gerbern Oegema (McGill), and Isaac Oliver (UQAM). This conference will gather to hear new research on Greek-speaking Jewish authors.
