From the Back Room to the Front Lines: Making Constitutional History

The McGill Law Journal is pleased to invite you to its 2012 Annual Lecture, featuring Ms. Mary Dawson, MC, QC, BCL'66, the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner for Canada.

Ms. Dawson will share her experiences as one of the final drafters of the Constitution Act, 1982 and as the principal legal advisor for the Meech Lake Accord, the Charlottetown Accords and as the head of the legal team for the Government of Canada on the Quebec Secession Reference.

If you would like to attend, please make sure to arrive early as seating is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis.

Following the lecture, there will be a reception in the Atrium that is generously provided by Osler Hoskin & Harcourt LLP.
