About the Speaker
Ryan McNeil is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, Public Health, and Anthropology at Yale University, as well as Director of Harm Reduction Research with the Yale Program in Addiction Medicine. Through his program of National Institutes of Health and Canadian Institutes of Health Research-funded research, he employs innovative and community-engaged qualitative and ethnographic approaches to delineate social, structural, and environmental influences on drug-related risks, harms, and health care access among people who use drugs and people experiencing homelessness.
