Walter Hitschfeld Geographic Information Centre closed for renovations

The Walter Hitschfeld Geographic Information Centre is closed to public access from August 12 through August 28 while the Library is being completely refurbished. When we open our doors on Monday, August 31, our students and faculty will benefit from 40 new computers and workstations, expanded laptop seating, group study banquettes for collaborative learning, improved map tables, new carpet and paint and comfortable seating.

If material from the collection is required for teaching or research between now and August 28, our library staff will retrieve the items for pickup at the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering borrowing desk. Please submit your requests to gic.library [at] mcgill.ca.
