Published: 3 October 2016

The parties met on September 22 and 23 and made progress on several non-monetary clauses. They reached agreements on the articles pertaining to relations between the parties, intellectual property and conduct of research, copies of the collective agreement, the labour relations committee and the grievance procedure. Following a discussion, the parties agreed that it was not necessary to include additional language related to workers solidarity, academic freedom and McGill governance.

The parties were scheduled to meet again on September 30.
