Published: 20 January 2009

Four Undergrad Case Teams:   Debate – Samantha Chang & Laura Leitch; Finance – Aditi Hariharan & Shifa Panwala; Labor Arbitration- Anoochka Gokhool & Michael Segal and MIS – Michael Conrad & Khaled Kteily; made the finals at the 31st annual ICBC (Inter-Collegiate Business Competition) held at Queen's University on January 9-12, 2009 with the MIS team taking first place.

In October 2008, these teams participated in a written case competition, finishing in the top six.  These six teams were invited to Queen's University in January 2009, where they had 5.5 hours to crack a new case that was presented to a panel of representatives of the business community.

Special thanks go to Profs. Richard Donovan, Robert Hebdon, Danny Kaufer, Sujata Madan and Mo Chaudhury who devoted their time and energy coaching the teams.  Prof. Donovan also accompanied the Desautels delegation to Queen's.

The Inter-Collegiate Business Competition is Canada's oldest and largest undergraduate business case competition. Hosted annually by Queen's University students, the ICBC attracts business students from across the nation and beyond. The ICBC is an ideal opportunity for students, faculty and prominent members of the business community to interact, and exchange ideas and experiences.
